It was supposed to have been demolished, destroyed and gone for good.

However, some last remaining parts of Marling's long corridor will go under the hammer this spring, not to be further smashed in to smithereens, but to be auctioned at the school's annual old boys' dinner.

The school and the Old Marlingtonians' Association (OMA) have come up with the idea as a bit of fun to mark the end of a supposedly temporary building which saw over 90 years' active service and as a fund raiser for Marling School.

The Old Marlingtonians' Association annual Dinner takes place at Marling School on the evening Saturday, April 26. It is open to all former pupils and staff of Marling School, admission is by pre-purchased ticket only. For further details click here.
