The newly formed Marling Choir has had an eventful year, with several performing opportunities. The year began with a series of workshops in preparation for a massed choir performance at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium prior to a Rugby League match between England and New Zealand. This was followed by the choir's school Christmas Concert debut, with a superb solo performed by Windsor Cooper. Later in the year, following the Spring Concert performance, the boys represented Marling School at the 2016 Imjin Music Festival - a particularly special event this time marking Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday. In addition to this, the choir have had several other opportunities to perform in school, such as the Year 6 Induction Day and the KS3 Celebration of Achievement evening, with several wonderful solo parts too. This year has been an exciting start and just a taste of things to come!
